Carson City Barbell Club started on Monday
The Barbell club is intended to supplement your training goals by adding strength with
a linear progression style of training. It will be an Open Gym style format; however there will be a program to follow and your coaches are available for questions and most will be getting stronger right along the side of you.

New Kids In the Box- News!
Our women’s division is selling out quicker than we thought. We have more women than men wanting to throw down and compete. If you are thinking about signing up, we think you should. Loads will be moderate and you will need to know how to deadlift, front squat, shoulder press. Open gym Sunday is a great way to work on your weakness = ”goats” not goals. And to work on what you need help with.
We are still looking for judges and volunteers sign up on our website even if you are a coach.
Don’t miss this event and register online at www.carsoncitycrossfit.com
We are still in the process of looking for more local vendors to support this event, if you know anyone send them our way. If you are on Facebook” Like” Sweat RX Mag as they will be hooking up judges and athletes.
Bald is Beautiful
April 7th at 2pm, Salon Chocolat will be hosting “Bald is Beautiful.” Tiffani and a handful of brave women are standing up to cancer by shaving their locks of hair together.
Please come out and support this inspiring young woman. You don’t have to shave your head to participle you can sponsor someone to do it too. All donations will go to Tiffani to pay for her medical bills. Salon Chocolat is located at 177 W. Proctor Street in Carson City.
There will also be a bake sale and face painting by Lynzie. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
