CCCF competition team training focuses on preparation for CrossFit competitions, especially the CrossFit Open. Programming covers a broad range of fitness and skills with an emphasis on strength training and attacking weaknesses. Programming follows a strength/metcon bias calendar designed to help athletes handle heavy loads.
Members that participate in our Comp/Team (Plan C ) program follow a competition programming strategy based upon PLAN C. All Comp / Team members have access to a more in depth coaching program. This is to help refine the Plan C program to address their personal strengths and weaknesses. Athletes perform at higher levels in competitive environments optimally in a group atmosphere. CCCF will organize training schedules for small and large groups of Comp/Team athletes to provide a highly competitive training environment. CCCF also provides dedicated weekly Comp/Team classes so that athletes can train together as teams and against each other as individuals. For athletes with challenging schedules, CCCF will have Open Gym hours during the day so that athletes can do their workouts, skill and strength training done on their own time.
The competition team will have high levels of volume and hours of training together to build a team and environment as well as competing in local and online qualifiers on a regular basis.
Plan C is a dedicated team that will focus on one goal, to qualify for Regionals.
